BLINDSIDE 2024 FUNDRAISER: $20k for 20 years

29 May–30 Jun 2024

BLINDSIDE turns 20 this year, a landmark moment made possible by two decades of community support and engagement. This year, we are seeking $20k for 20 years to support us into the next decade.

BLINDSIDE has played a vital role in the arts community since its inception, providing a platform for emerging and early-career artists to showcase experimental works, explore new and critical dialogues, and engage with the public.

The strength of BLINDSIDE is a credit to the strength of its community; we couldn't do this without you.

The campaign will run until the conclusion of the financial year, on 30 June 2024. To make a tax deductible donation via the Australian Cultural Fund, please visit the link below.

"As we celebrate our 20th year, we have reflected deeply on what it means to be an artist run space and the significance of this two-decade legacy for both us and our community.

With platforms like BLINDSIDE comes innovation, community and possibilities, defined first and foremost by our creative vision. The resilience of artist run spaces lies in our ability to support and bolster each other and, as we continue to exist in uncertainty, our strength lies in our collective dedication to fostering creativity and community.

With your help we can continue to pay artists, support emerging talent, and engage in the critical discussions that shape our future.”

– Vivienne De Matteis, Blindside Chair.
